In this course you will learn how to recognize life threatening emergencies and how to perform basic first aid.

11. Activating EMS and/or EAP

12. Responding to External and Internal

    Bleeding

13. Direct Manual Pressure & Bandaging

14. Using a Tourniquet (Improvised

    and Commercial)

15. Shock

    • Minor Wounds

16. Tooth and Eye Injuries

17. Amputated Body Parts

18. Open Wounds

19. Head, Neck, or Spinal Injury

20. Concussion

21. Bone, Joint, and Muscle Injuries

22. Splinting

    • Burns

23. Altered Mental States

25. Opioid-Associated Emergency

27. Severe Allergic Reaction (Anaphylaxis)
